Camp Dubois

March 9, 2018

During WWII the Wyoming Tie and Timber Company, operating in the Upper
Wind River valley, made loggers of 150 German prisoners of war.
Via your ATV you can easily visit their hidden camp (Camp Dubois) and
learn their story as you visit the 400 miles of Greater Yellowstone
Ecosystem public trails and roads available on adjacent national forest
lands.  For nearly four years these German prisoners experienced a
favorable life existence in an extremely beautiful environment just as you
will enjoy as you learn the stories of the Dubois area.
